The Library of the Museu Nacional de Soares dos Reis is specialized in the thematic areas associated with the museum’s collections, the history of the art, history of the city of Porto, museology and museography.

The documentary collection comprises reference works, monographs, periodic publications and catalogues from exhibitions, auctions, other museums and private collections. There are also some academic theses and reserved titles.
