Two chapters on the history of the museum and its building are followed by nine sections on the main collections: painting, engraving, sculpture and decorative arts, which includes ceramics, glassware, jewellery, metals, furniture and textiles. It covers a period ranging from the 16th to the 20th century, of which the oldest artefacts belong to the collection of stonework of a historical-archaeological nature.
